I am a developer at the Jülich Center for Neutron Science which is an institute at Forschungszentrum Jülich, a research center in Germany.
In collaboration with the Technical University of Munich and the Helmholtz Center Geesthacht we operate over twenty instruments at the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum (MLZ) and support instrument scientists performing neutron scattering experiments.
Together we develop and maintain NICOS the instrument control software at the MLZ.
In order to validate results and to align instruments it is essential to design and develop appropriate visualization systems. One part of my work has been the GR integration into NICOS.
