Jean-Philippe is a software developer at Shopify in Montreal. Being curious by nature, he'll adventure himself along new paths and loves to discover new technologies, principles or just test out that new library that came out yesterday.
More practically, he's been an organizer of the local Montreal-based Python user group called Montréal-Python since 2011. He first encountered Python in 2010 and has since worked on various projects ranging from a few line of scripting , to personal projects and all the way to those tens of thousands of LoC systems under-documented and not well tested that needs to work on Python 2.4.
