This speaker release agreement allows the EPS to host and archive the EuroPython conference videos and presentations for future years. It is intended to be placed on the talk submission page and made part of the submission form. Alternatively, the speaker can provide a signed paper form during the conference. However, a web form is the preferred way of getting approval to reduce organizational overhead.
By submitting this talk submission web form, submitter (“the speaker”) grants to the EuroPython Society (“the society”) the non-exclusive right to record, reproduce and distribute the speaker's presentation in electronic format via the World Wide Web, as well as the right to migrate or convert your presentation to any medium or format for the purpose of preservation and/or continued distribution.
The society acknowledges that this is an non-exclusive license; any copyrights in the presentation remain with the speaker or other copyright holder and subsequent uses of the submitted material by that person(s) are not restricted by this license. Speaker also grants any associated rights necessary to record, reproduce and distribute audio, video, images, or excerpts of the presentation.
The speaker represents that the presentation covered by this license is his/her original work and that he/she has the right to grant this license to the society. The speaker further represents that the presentation does not, to the best of his/her knowledge, infringe upon any third-party’s copyright.
If this presentation is based upon work that has been sponsored or supported by any agency or organization other than the society, the speaker represents that he/she has fulfilled any right of review or other obligation required by contract or agreement with the supporting entity.
The society will make the presentation available to the public using a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Share-Alike license (CC-BY-NC-SA ) accompanied by a copyright statement. You can find details on this license here: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/
Recordings will be made available on the EuroPython YouTube Channel and uploaded to Archive.org for archival purposes.
